She will be three and a half month old. I have a 40 gallon tank, branches, fake plants, a basking spot that reaches 95, cool side that reaches 80, a uvb bulb, small crickets (currently gutloading), Rep cal- calcium with vitamin d3, and a multivitamin supplement. Humidity stays between 55 and 65, pretty much everything is set, but I have a few worries. Will the tank be too big for the frilly to catch its food? Should I not be using repti-bark this early, I see all the care sheets say its good for an adult but is 3 and a half months too early for that... maybe newspaper instead? Also what should I do if the frilled lizard is spooked and doesnt want to eat or drink-- would putting newspaper around the tank so she feels more isolated be approptiate? Ive read almost all the care sheets and they dont seem to answer some of the more specific answers, and how long can I keep her in the 40 gallon tank. I see some sheets say that juvs should be moved to the 3x3x4, while others say adults only. Please help, kinda lost on the important stuff.
