As I previously stated in another post, I got handed a chinese water dragon. I have some concerns about her health and I'm not sure what to do about it.
Her face looks beat up, right on the tip of her snout. The previous owner said she hit her face repeatedly on the side of her water container. So what can I do to treat it, what can I do to prevent further injury?
Also, currently I don't have any substrate. The enclosure is just a net enclosure. She keeps climbing up the netting and then falling. She frequently hands in the water, and there are some fake vines that she also falls on. But there are areas where there is no water or fake plant matter to cushion her fall. So what should I do about that to keep her from harm? A messy substrate isn't really desirable. How about terrarium moss?
Any help anyone can give me is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
