I have a juvenile racer myself and tried crickets with the same result, he wouldn't even look at the things but he could eat small lizards by the truckload.
So try some small lizards or maybe some minnows?
Think about where you found it and what it would probably eat around there, the surroundings it originally lived in could give a huge clue as to what it likes/is used to eating.
