I was watching the Crocodile Hunter Diaries the other day...the one where Mary the 100 year old croc died...

it was such a sad episode, and when Steve started crying, i did too...

well, i was sitting there during the commercial thinking about how much Steve loved all animals, and i looked over at my snake cages sitting directly parrallel to my bed, and my Hogg Island Boa, Arie, was rubbing against the glass like crazy... it was a really strange behaviour for her, so i went over slid the door open, and stuck my hand down under her chin....

she immediately crawled up my arm, and i went back to sit on my bed with her...she curled up, completely calm, and layed right across my chest.

i know that snakes have very tiny brains, and are supposed to be emotionless...but i feel a really deep emotional connection with animals, but especially with Arie...this wasn't the first time she has acted that way...but everytime it happens, it amazes me.

just thought i'd share!
