after 70 days, my five eastern painted turtle eggs hatched! they hatched on thurs night or friday morning. i put them on miost paper towels for a day and a half while they absorbed their egg yolks. now they're in a few inches of water with a sloped peice of bark to climb up on. There becoming much stronger swimmers. i offered them earth worms but they don't seem intrested yet. Whem should they begin eating? What are they most likely to eat for their first meal? Any tips in raising hatchlings is welcome. Thanks!
