So I've been thinking about getting a tortoise and I've narrowed my picks down to red foots. During my research I came across the Dwarf Cherry Head, a relative of the Red Foot but slightly smaller. Now I can't decide.

As of right now, my space is somewhat limited. I do have a backyard, but Pittsburgh winters are pretty harsh and would have to have an indoor enclosure for either species for at least half the year.

I guess my dilemma would be the size. Do you think the 3 or 4" difference between the two really makes a difference in terms of indoor enclosures? I'm thinking yes, but I'm having trouble deciding. So right now I guess I'm leaning towards the Dwarf. Any insight would be appreciated.
