ok, ive had these turts, sal and mo for three years, since they were weeks old. And fortunately i just found this forum after three years of kinda winging it just reading res websites. Ive been feeding both of them everyday for three years, aquatic turtle food by zoo med (little bb pellets). I now feed them probably six or seven each a day. Is that too much? The reason why im asking this is cuz, since i found this forum last night, ive read through every post and reply, all five pages. I found a post where a girl talked about her turts having bulges or lumping on the turts shell and that the shell turns up on the ends. Someone else replyed to that post and stated that it is definitely from over feeding. Is this true? Am i feeding these three year olds two much? 7 pellets each a day.
TIA
