El Salvador boas are just as small as Nicaraguan boas.

The Blood morph originated with Ron St. Pierre. The founder stock was imported from El Salvador. Ron eventually sold all of his boas, the majority of his Bloods went to Tracy Barker of VPI. Numerous breeders bought from Tracy and Ron to build their stock.

Rich Ihle of Salmonboa.com bought his Blood male from Ron long ago and bred it to one of his Salmon females.

In 2004 the hets produced by the Blood X Salmon breeding produced the first Bloody Salmons. Among those DH X DH breedings Bill Kirby also bred an El Salvador Blood X DH to produce 75% El Salvador Blood boas.

In 2006 John Berry produced a litter from a Blood X Nicaraguan breeding. The female Nic was an import, however ended up being an unknown het. Thus the Berry Bloods.

There are not any pure bred Nicaraguan Blood boas.

This lineage follows just the main stream, I have plenty more info if you would like to know more. My website categorizes all the boa morphs and will show what locale they came from, and who first produced them and in what year.
