Posted by: Chuck H. at Sat Sep 1 21:08:20 2007 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Chuck H. ] Anolis equestris is properly known as the Knight Anole. They have been labeled Cuban Anoles (but there are dozens of anole species in Cuba!) and Cuban Knight Anoles. Yes, they will eat fruit. I have a trio now that love green and red grapes, blue berries and sliced apples. I generally put some fruit in their food dishes along with the crickets or superworms (primarily did that at first for the bugs to have something to eat/drink until they were eaten). Hope that helps.
