I've got a new pair of juvenile Great Plains Skinks and just wanted to check to see if there is anyone with any experience with these types of skinks to see what they've found out about their behaviors, what keeps them happy, healthy and active, etc...

Also, anyone with general help on taming young, wild skinks would be nice... these two are skittish, as can be expected. They are doing well in their new home, but I'm kinda waiting to see if they'll get use to me being around. They run and burrow most of the time when I walk in the room. I've been trying to leave them alone for the most part... not handling them or anything like that. I have been, however, urging them out of their hide once in a while to watch their reaction and let them start getting use to me. One of them seems to be getting a little less skittish... instead of hiding, sometimes he'll see a cricket and eat it or something... then go hide. Heh.
