there is no need to give him a bath or dig him up because this may further stress him out. If his eyes are open and clear and he seems to be in normal shape, just let him settle down in his new enviroment and in turn, he should eat. also if you put the crickets in there for a while and you notice that he doesnt care for them, take the crickets out and try again the next day or two. They dont seem to like crickets walking on top of them and the crickets can drown in a water dish, etc. When I was taking care of like 20 babies I would feed them all at once but there were always like one or two that didnt want to eat. But they eventually came around and ate later on.
I am assuming that its a baby? Make sure the crickets arent too small because they eat large prey items compared to their body, hence "pacman"
