My Red Ear won't eat

I just got a Red-Eared Slider from Boston a few days ago and I can't get him to eat the "Floating Turtle Gammarus Pellets" that I bought for him. Should I try natural foods instead of the pellets or is he just in a phase because he just moved in and will eventually start eating?
