Well, I'll be reading to see what you find out. I recently caught a pair of juvenile Great Plains Skinks (it took me a while to identify them because the juveniles look completely different from adults) and they like to burrow a lot as well... but I'm starting to see them more now that they are adapting to their new home.

Anyway... you might try searching through the list of different 'glass lizard' species on Wikipedia... there appears to be quite a few. I'm not sure you'll have any luck there but that's where I saw a list of lots of different 'glass lizards'... and I think some of them have legs. Later...
