Hi all~

I have kept reptiles for many years but am new to frogs. This spring I caught a few tadpoles and raised them up to little frogs. I've identified them as Pacific tree frogs and just love the little guys - they're awesome! I have five and they range from a bit smaller than a centimeter to about 3/4 of an inch.

I haven't really had any problems with them except having to separate the littlest ones for awhile because they weren't getting enought to eat while in with their bigger companions. Today however while feeding them I noticed that there were miniscule little whitish bugs crawling on the back of my smallest frog. I looked closely at all the others and discovered all of them have these tiny creatures on them. What are they? I suppose this doesn't matter so much as how do I get rid of them?? I know frogs are really sensitive animals, so what kind of product is safe to use with them to get rid of pests? I know with snakes you put them in a really clean tanks with paper towels or something as substrate until the pests are gone, but how do you do this with tree frogs? Help! Any advice is much appreciated, thanks.

Angela
