It certainly has been a long time, and we're glad to see you back, even if the news isn't all that good. I remember your tank very well, and I'm sure you can do another as well. The plants will probably survive. I treat mine terribly sometimes, and they bounce right back, as long as they aren't orchids or something delicate.

I can certainly empathize with your lack of a computer. Mine crashed totally, well almost totally, apparently due to a virus (they actually found three on there) that had snuck through all of the antivirus stuff. I ended up having to purchase a totally new windows XP program because I couldn't find either the serial number or the back up disc, which I later discovered in a "safe" place rather than where I keep all of my backups. I am sooo SENILE!! The new computer gurus I took it to were suspecting that it had been a pirated edition, and the guys who sold it to me and installed it a couple of years ago are now out of business, so I'm going to have to call and correct this impression. It was a rather costly misplacement on my part. In any event, this took two weeks. Two weeks without a social life! I can't believe that a computer has become so indispensable to my life. I grew up during my early years without indoor plumbing, electricity or a telephone way back in the boonies, and now I whine when my computer takes two weeks to fix.

In any event, welcome back, and let us know how you progress with the new set up. It should come easier this time, at least.
