Define "some". Sliders get big. Assume roughly 10 gallons per inch of turtle. So, a 7" slider (some males grow to 7", most females get bigger than that) will need a 75 gallon tank, at least.
Also consider adoption, if you're sure a slider is right for you. There are lots of rescue groups out there, and hundreds of sliders needing new homes.
