My MBK escaped this past Friday, i thought for sure she was gone. I searched everywhere but nothing turned up. I put powder on the floors at night to see if I could see her movement but nothing. Today I finally found her in my basement soaking wet and smelling really bad. I think she went down my toilet on the first floor and came up the toilet in the basement. I also noticed the toilet wasn't flushing properly another indication she was hiding in the pipes. Imagine sitting on the bowl and seeing a 4 1/2 foot black snake crawling out? LOL...anyways, just thought I share this story with the happy ending. BTW, she's resting comfortably in a brand new 48x24x12 terrestial cage with a nice fitting lock.
