>>Thank you for responding to my query. I'm planning on collecting a Red Racer next spring. My friends who live in the high desert between L.A. and Palmdale have them on their property. Can you tell me how to debug a Red Racer? >>Thanks again, Carl
Carl there are alot of options and there all open to debate. What I use for external parasites is called sevin dust %5.You can find it in any garden section of Walmart,Kmart, etc. All I do is sprinkle it directly onto the snake and let it sit for a couple hours. Then I rinse the snake off good.7 bucks a can and you can treat 100's of snakes.Ive used it for 22 years and have had no problems. For internal parasites my vet makes a concoction of panacur and Im not sure what else that kills all internal bugs.I have it put in syringes so I know the dose rate per pound. This is fairly cheap also as I have a bunch made up for all newcommers.Paul ----- If lead paint is so deadly why do they make it so delicious?
