Currently keeping my boa in a home built cage 6'Lx3'Dx2'H and she seems to love it. However, I came into a great deal on a cage from Cages By Design that is simply beautiful but it's more vertically oriented. I think it's 4'L x 2'D x 5'H. It's sitting empty waiting for a JCP to get big enough to live in it. My question - does anyone have any experience putting a Dumeril in this size cage? I know they are a terrestrial species but would she enjoy climbing and exploring vertically if I set it up this way or would she just hang out on the bottom, effectively wasting the dimensions of this enclosure? Thanks.
