Carful on the imported snakes. For starters you are not sure what the parents temps where. Two, as far as feeding, is it eating reg. I have heard that they can be hard feeders if not eating right away.

I agree with the male. I have one and he is great. He is only about 4 ft right now but not big at all. He is starting to get some girth, and he is about 2 years old. They will grow at the rate you feed. I feed mine once a week.
