My husband and I are interested in aquiring a few viper boas, and eventually breed so I know we need multiple males. There's a store nearby who's got a 1:1 wc pair, and I've found various places that seem to have good CBB and WC stock of numerous snakes that I might like to go through (pics of each viper, pics of many other individual animals). Any suggestions? I've read as much as I could find on them online so far (there's not alot that I've found), so I think I'll be doing well (I also have 13 snakes right now, 4 more on the way - 11 of the 17 being boids).

If there is any place you'd suggest for aquiring more vipers (varying colors, prefered - the pet store's are a med and a dark brown right now...), or a good source on more info on them, I'd appreciate it!

Oh, I did find the Candoia page here on Kingsnake. Is there anything else I should know?

Oh - one question: what size tank is best for these? The pair at the store look as if a 10gal would be enough. Also, is caging together a problem? I know you can't always tell who shed, and pooping and regurg is impossible to tell for most of them, but! Once they are over with quarentine, is there any problem with housing them together? What about housing gravid females together - is that a problem?

Thanks everyone!
