Hi. I'm completely new to reptiles, though I've read numerous faqs on care and etc.
I bought a rosy boa baby on Sept 22. He was 6 days old and had just eaten. He shed 2 weeks ago, but I haven't been able to get him to eat. Last week I took him to the vet, who couldn't find anything wrong with him, and they tube-fed him some stuff to help him last a while. I still can't get him to eat.
More disturbing, still, just now I took him out to give him some medicine (the vet had given me some to give him just in case. I think it's for his skin) and found that a layer of his skin is peeling on one spot on his side. It's like he's shedding from the side first, but he just shed 2 weeks ago and he did get it all off then. His cage is only 80-something degrees and I don't use a heat rock so I don't think he could have burned himself. We were holding him hours ago and he wasn't like this. I know it's a long shot but does anybody know what might be wrong with him? If you can't tell me about his skin, do you have any tips to get him to eat? He's never eaten thawed food, has only eaten once aside from at the vet, but I can't get him interested in it at all...

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.
