Frog ID

Okay, for one, I'd sure like to know if he's a real frog or a fake one. These two pictures are from a Natural Terrarium book I have. I've been trying to identify all the herps in this particular vivarium and I've done it with all of the other ones. This little frog is sitting in the corner, but I can't tell if he's fake or real, and if he's real, what kind he is. Any help is appreciated.

He might have just been added as a prop or something, but I don't know. There is nothing in the caption about it. The other herps in that particular vivarium include a Chinese Water Dragon, African Clawed Frogs, Fire Skink, and common goldfish. (To the best of my knowledge)
