I used vinegar for the first time today and it works great. Turn your aquarium on its side (if you can) and add just enough to cover glass, let it sit for 10 minutes or so, then scrub. Do NOT use LIMEAWAY, I tried that too. Within minutes two minnows i had in the aquarium died, so I got my turtles out of there and started all over with vinegar. I didnt know i had any until I brought it up to my wife. Vinegar=Good Chemicals=Bad
