Can anyone identify what has caused this injury to my dragon's mouth? It appears on both sides of his mouth. I had been in Germany for 3 months and when I returned he had these sores. I've never seen them actually bleed, they've always been scabbed up. I am not sure if this is a shedding issue or if it has to do with chewing his food.

The dragon is eating normally, is active, and humidity levels are always above 50%. He is currently about 6 years old and I have owned him his entire life. The inside of his mouth, as far as I can tell, seems to be fine with no signs of mouth rot.

I should probably take him to the vet, but if anyone else has a solution I would like to hear it first.
