My wife recently got our first dart frog, a blue azureurus. He is just a little guy and I have fruit flies and pinheads to feed him. While he is so small I have him in a five gal tank. When I dump in a handful of flies or the crickets, they immediately scatter or climb the cage wall. (The fruitflies climb out through the screen too which I'm not happy about). The little frog eagerly catches or chases a couple down but by the time he has them the rest are long gone. Sometimes the crickets come out when I mist the cage and he'll snag one or two. But I worry that he is getting enough. Is there a better way to feed him. What does everyone else do?
