You can try feeding fewer insects at a time twice a day, and putting in a piece of fruit such as an orange slice (which lasts longer) or banana where the flies and crickets will tend to congregate.
Most keepers use glass tops, which not only minimize prey escapes, but maintain the high humidty darts require. Screen tops should at least be covered with plastic such as Saran Wrap. ----- Patty Pahsimeroi, Idaho
