I am no vet, but I picked up a huge whites tree frog at a pet shop and had him for 6 or 7 years.

During this time he jumped into his screen lid and damaged the top of his head pretty bad. (i think going for a cricket)

Anyhow, the sore did not heal up well at all. It was unusual to me because amphipians usually heal so quickly it is amazing. It progressivly got larger, and deeper. I assume it became infected. Being the poor college student that I was I did not take him to a vet.

I put plain ole' neosporin on the wound and it healed in less than a week! I would give it a shot, worked well jabba and he lived years after that. Without the neosporin I assure you he would have passed.
