I would recomend Lepidodactylus lugubris, the morning gecko. They do well in a planted tank, are hardy, and pretty low maintenence. Although they are technically nocturnal they are often out during the day, and if you keep enough of them(you could probably keep at least five in one of your tanks) there will almost always be at least one visible. These geckos also make interesting pets because they are parthenogenic and will lay fertile eggs that will incubate under standard terarium conditions. These geckos can also make several types of small chirping noises, which probably gave rise to their common name. Now for the downsides. Since this is a small species they must be fed small prey and babyfood frequently. I feed mine 3 times a week on crickets or field plankton and once a week on babyfood or crushed fruit, such as banana or fig. These geckoes should be misted at least once daily and should probably have a basking spot, they like it at least.
