you'll have to check with your local fish and wildlife dept. but i'm pretty sure breeding most native species is illegal. and i'm guessing collecting them and using them as food is also. not 100% sure though. it would be illegal cause you would be disrupting the local wildlife. you probably wouldn't get caugt unless you went up to a officer and told them, but thats not the point... ----- RES
