>>You know im really gettin tired of recieving a snotty responce every time i ask a damn question...you could give me a simple answer to the best of your ability or kindly direct me to the right people instead of attacking me...ive been breeding snakes for 8 of my 20 years just because i ask a question does not mean im un-educated---i thought if there was anyone to answer my question impartially it would be someone in this forum...guess i was wrong

The issues of venomoids is a touchy one as many feel that removal of the venom glands is cruel, especially because it is often done by non-vets without proper anesthesia / procedures. I fall into that group.

That said, I think it's better to educate rather than berate. There is a venomoid forum where folks are more accepting of this sort of discussion. Personally, if I were bit by a venomoid, I'd head to a hospital. It's very possible to mess up the surgery, especially when it is done by non-professionals, and leave the snake capable of injecting venom. If you are going to have a problem, it's best to be at a hospital.
