As I'm sure you know, it can be extremely difficult to find anything in some areas of South Texas. I agree that we have great species diversity here, though. Also, I agree with your statement about how hard it is to get to the habitat in the first place. Joe Forks and company at HCU are trying to change that. As for ridiculous laws concerning picking up or even just looking at snakes on the road. I was just picking up some aluminum cans...
