my suggestion would be to look into African Reed Frogs.

you could easily fit a group of 3 - 5 in a tank that size. relatively inexpensive, and are easy breeders too ( if you are looking to get into that as well).

my other suggestion would be dart frogs. the black and green auratus are among my favs.
