no offence, but how could you lose a waterdragon, they are huge? even when they are babies, it's a little different than loosing a little gecko or frog or something?
and are you housing the ig with the wd's? if so, you are just setting yourself up for failure. how cold does it get? if it's below 60F that could be bad, but otherwise they are pretty hardy. put lots of water dishes out, it will die of thirst before starvation.
