Feeder fish disease

I don't want this to sound stupid but if a feeder fish, guppy or rosy red for instance, dies of disease and the turtle eats it will it get sick and die or anything? Also, does anyone know where to get any feeder fish on the internet in bulk for cheap? The pet stores around here sell them for ridiculous prices. thanx
