In my experience, silicone fumes have not bothered the plants. I've even used it to attach the bromeliads. I would keep the lid open, as you intend to do, and you could even blow a fan over it if the fumes seem strong to you, but it will be all right to leave the plants where they are.
Usually silicone will "cure" in 72 hours, but just to be super-safe, I'd keep it open about a week before putting the frogs back. I've heard reports of silicone failing to "cure" within 3 days, but have never had it happen myself.
