Hi everyone!

I'm new here but I was referred to you guys because I was told that you all give excellent advice! For the last 2 weeks, my turtle (Philbert) has not been eating at all. I had to stop giving him worms recently because it got too cold to get them so I originally thought that he was just pissed cuz he didn't get his worms anymore. However, it's been 2 weeks since then and he won't eat any of his greens, he hasn't pooped in a week, and now he's doing a snorting thing. His eyes and nose seem clear (though he's in his water all the time so it's hard to tell). He has also become increasingly inactive. He used to come out of his water and sun himself, come out to eat, and climb over the tree that's in his tank. I take him out of his tank and let him run around all the time but now he just sits right where I put him. His water is warm and he has a heat lamp. He's small, only about 5ins long. Could he be going into hibernation? Or could it be a respiratory infection (which would explain the snorting)? Please help! I don't want my Philby to be sick! Thanks!

Courtney
