when I tried many years ago, I was able to get some recent WC's to feed on small frozen/thawed fuzzy mice.

Even the largest adults seemed to prefer smaller food items.

What I did, was keep the snakes in room that stayed in the 73-78 temp range was fairly dark, and I left them alone for about 2 weeks before I even tried to feed them.
I kept them on paper towels with a hide box filled with slightly damp moss, and a large water bowl.

Most of them took the f/t fuzzies on the 1st or 2nd try when I left them just outside the hide box.

but sadly the longest I could keep one alive was about 9 months.

the captive born ones I obtained thrived and did well for me for years until I found new homes for them.

good luck!
