The pyramiding doesn't get any better, the bumps your tort has now will stay the same. As he grows, the shell beneath the bumps will start to grow normally.

You may want to add fruits to is his diet. Variety seems to work the best on my pyramided tort. I would cut out the iguana and dry box turtle food and easy on the bugs. If you want to feed him dry food, try Mazuri.

Where are you located? If you are in warm enough temps, keep him outside. As long as predators can't get to him. I am lucky enough to live in S. Florida, mine live outside almost year round so I don't have to worry about humidity. Good luck.
