Like kensopher said,temps in the mid 50s are too high and if
you keep your NA Woods at this temp for even two months your
asking for disaster because NA Woods are a very cold tolerant
species.Keeping them in that type of environment will really
stress and lean them out because their metabolism is still in working mode but not enough for them to process anything so in turn it is pulling from the turtles own reserves and this will cause definate illness and even death. Sorry that post was so long. Coelacanth
