I had a neonate green that ate one gerbil and then ate nothing for 15 months - during that time I force fed two small mice, changed environment a number of times and tried all tricks - such as 'braining' a mouse, chick, live bird (zebra finch), scented, even tried a live mouse once, gerbils, hamsters etc etc.

The snake never really changed in condition over that time and must have shed at least 4 times - used to soak in water bowl and generally behaved like a well snake - apart from feeding.

One day I took a 24 hour old mouse out of a viv that my small boas were in and threw it in with the conda - it took it straight away and just needed meat to be putrifying a little - its not missed a feed since and in the 12 months that it has been feeding has grown to 6ft.

Patience is the key and don't give up.

Carl
