I have raised several dozens on albinistic C. cranwelli from frogletts to adulthood. I have always noticed this behavior. It seems especially prevalent in the amelanistic phase. Keep in mind that these commercially produced frogs are geneticaly challanged. I would also mention to you that there exists a pedal luring technicque in the Ceratrophys group where by the twitching actually invites the investigation of potentiall prey items of these sit and wait predators. Your ability to maintain this frog for 4 years is to be comended. The amphibian community needs more people like you. I am not saying that there is nothing wrong with your frog, I am only giving you my experience regarding your post. Please excuse spelling.
