Hello, I have had my giant day gecko for a year (since he was a baby), and he has usually been a bright green, sometimes a dark brownish green when he's stressed. He is quite healthy and eats normally. About 2 weeks ago, I cleaned his tank, and then a few days later brought him home with me for the holidays. He has now since seemed a little more stressed and has been hiding inside his bamboo for most of the day, although he has still been eating and drinking water. His head has turned an unusual blue colour, but the rest of his body is the usual green. I am worried about him and was wondering if anyone could tell me if this is just a case of him being stressed and it will pass, or if it is something I should be more concerned about. I have a photo, but have not yet figured out how to upload onto here, but I would appreciate any information you can give! Thank you!
