I currently have them in a 90 gallon indoor pond that is a little more then half filled(im using the ledges as there basking spots) I want to upgrade there set-up and get a 180 gallon tank for them and I am unsure on a few things. I would like to get a better filter for the tank and I am unsure if what to get. Anyone have any suggestions on good filters for around 100 gallons worth of water for snapping turtles? I am also unsure on how to go about for making them a basiking spot. Again any suggestions on how to do that as well would be nice. I was thinking about just taking 3/8 inch plexi glass and cutting it to the width of the tank and culking that into the tank on an angle and willing the "land" side with either dirt, sank or pea gravel(kind of like a waterland tub set up) Please give me any suggestion you may have on filters or basking areas as well. If it works out well I am going to do the same thing for my other group of turtles. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
