I'm not sure if that area is in or out of range for S. graciosus, but it looks like it's pretty close to the mapped range. The lizard in question is the adult pictured in hand with the paper bag in the background.

This page: http://www.californiaherps.com/lizards/pages/s.g.gracilis.html has some very good comparison photos of S. graciosus versus S. occidentalis.

The lizard looks like a female. Female sagebrush lizards will often get an orange wash along the sides and usually won't have the blue ventral stripes like S. occidentalis.
