You know, taking it out of the cage everyday! If so, try to let the snake settle in to it's new surroundings. Assuming it's well fed leave it alone for 4 or 5 days, maybe even more. Then when you handle the snake , handle it for brief moments at a time. Hopefully your snake will get used to you interacting with him and you can gradually spend more time handleing him.
