hello,

My frilled dragon is too small, so I can't offer any tips on sexing, or fangs.

However, I do have a little advice for taming. Checking for mites is important, but if your enclosure is mite free and you are not finding mites I don't think that you need to check for mites on its frill everytime you pick him/her up. My lizard does like its frill being examined either.

Try handling your lizard for x amount of minutes a day if possible. I let mine warm up on me for about 15 to 25 minutes in the mornings. I just let him/her sit on me in the sun and he/she relaxes.

Also, try feeding him/her and see if he will drink from your hand. This way he/she associates you with food and water.

hope this helps,

apaquet
