If you have native muds stinkpots, eastern or midland painteds, northern redbelly, or diamondback terrapins in MD, you need to see the proposed changes to MD regulation over in the Herp Law forum. These previously unregulated (by the captive permit) species are likely moving to List B - only one without a permit.
The mud and terrapin are being regulated at the species level(Kinosternon subrubrum and Malaclemys terrapin), not at the subspecies level.
On the plus side, breeding (of at least native species) will be legal with a permit once the new regs go through.
