The cage is 6 ft. high, 4 ft. deep and 4 ft wide. I've decided to seal the pine frame, cover the sides and back with sealed plywood and cover the front with Plexiglas. Thanks for the info on the top though - I wasn't quite sure what to do with it. The mesh is very open, so I'm sure it won't block any of the UV.
