The best recommendation I can give not knowing specific care info on this species is to try to duplicate there environment as close as you can. In my opinion and filtration system is mandatory for any water dwelling species but if you use a "waterfall filter" be sure to use something like a V shaped peace of plastic that goes from the bottom of the tank all the way out of the water to keep the little guys from getting sucked up in the filter.
